THE DESIGN INTERPRETS THE CLASSICAL NOTION OF A BASE, MIDDLE AND TOP IN A CONTEMPORARY WAY THAT ACKNOWLEDGES ITS CONSTRUCTION TYPOLOGY OF FIVE STORIES OF WOOD OVER TWO STORIES OF CONCRETE, OVERLAID WITH A REQUIRED UPPER STORY STEP BACK AND TOP LEVEL LOUNGE AND TERRACE FACING LOGUE. AS THE PRIMARY FRONTAGE, LOGUE IS LINED WITH ACTIVE GROUND LEVEL AMENITY AND LOBBY SPACES WRAPPING ONTO THE ENTRY DRIVE. ONE UNIQUE ASPECT OF THE SITE IS THE ANGLE OF THE NORTHERN PROPERTY LINE WHICH INSPIRED CUTTING AWAY AT THE BUILDING BASE AT ANGLES TO CREATE WELCOMING, SHELTERED ENTRIES THAT ENHANCE THE PUBLIC REALM.
